Tale
Two young religious women become embroiled in a game of cat and mouse in a strange man’s house. Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East in ‘Heretic’ and more modern women destroying the horror game. Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East were both raised Mormons and were therefore able to provide valuable insight into the religion while making the film.

This is a very religious horror film
He is very unsettling in this role and that alone is worth the price of admission. I hope this isn’t just a one-off performance for him because we need him in more horror movies, he’s a natural. Sophie Thatcher (Sister Barnes) and Chloe East (Sister Paxton) also deliver top-notch performances.
It’s a dialogue-heavy film, which I personally enjoyed, but some people might not
It doesn’t rely on cheap shock effects, as Hugh’s speeches alone in this film can send shivers down your spine. It could have been better towards the end, but this is still a solid entry in the genre. From Alien: Romulus to Road House, take a look back at some of our favorite posters of 2024.
