When Ben reads an old newspaper on microfilm in the library, the headline reads "Local Couple Victims of DUI" ;
Tale
The author returns to his hometown of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to find that the townspeople are being attacked by a bloodthirsty vampire.. Writer Gary Dauberman told Den of Geek in June 2019 that his goal with the new version of Salem’s Lot will make vampires scary again. He wants to get away from the sexier, more romantic undead that have flooded pop culture for the better part of the past quarter century, thanks to everything from Interview with the Vampire to Twilight to The Vampire Diaries.. The paper was allegedly printed in 1956, at a time when the term "DUI" it was not yet in use..
I loved the 1979 version, which I binge-watched when I was 15
Literature Trog (1970). Sunset Written and performed by Gordon Lightfoot Courtesy of Warner Records In arrangement with Warner Music Group Film & TV Licensing. Okay, I just checked out one of my favorite Stephen King novels. I’ve been anticipating watching this for a while, at least since the rumors of a remake coming.
The acting was quite ok
The movie wasn’t terrible, I gave it a six (which may be too generous) because the movie was watchable. I was so hoping it would be remade with the kind of money that would write acting all that "It" had when the last remake was finished. Everything was just a little bit with this movie. Character development was pretty much non-existent.
Why remake something if you don’t make it extraordinary!
They could have developed interest in the characters much better. I think it was racing towards the end, the ride at the end was terrible, some should have hit the brakes hard on that one! Why? Stephen King is an amazing writer and if the production is done right it should be amazing.
Looking for something else to add to your watch list?
Very disappointed…. Take a look at what movies and TV shows will be airing this month.
