This is a fantastic movie!
Shabe Golestan Tanha Singer: Dariush Rafiee Composer: Majidas Vafadar Lyrics: Mahmood Sanaee. Showing a lot of Persian culture, it’s a very entertaining and charming film, but it also hints at a lot of political themes. The fact that we can watch that film is in itself a political act that should be appreciated.
They are also all beautifully shot
But under these circumstances, a film being shot in Iran is incredible. I have never seen so many scenes on the streets of Iran in one movie. It is fascinating to see what attracts Iranian directors.
The atmosphere was magical
The plot itself is excellent, and so is the acting. The cinema we were in was full of Iranians who were laughing and enjoying the film. If you’re looking for a wholesome movie with a dramatic twist, go for it.
